Score Tap: Basketball is made by Handtechnics. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.
Handtechnics doesn't collect any information about you, and the app has no accounts. Your games stay on your device. The free version shows a banner ad from Google AdMob, which collects some information to show ads (see below). Score Tap Pro removes the ad.
Scores, team names, game history and settings are stored only on your iPhone or iPad. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes them.
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect information such as your device's advertising identifier or other device identifiers, your approximate location based on your IP address, and how you interact with ads. Google's use of this information is described in its privacy policy: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the UK), the app asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings › Ad Privacy Choices. The app does not ask to track you across other companies' apps and websites. Ads are limited to content suitable for general audiences.
None of your scores, team names or game history is shared with Google or anyone else.
Score Tap Pro is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details. The app asks the App Store whether Pro has been purchased on your Apple Account so it can unlock it.
When you choose to share a score or a game picture, it goes only where you send it, using the iOS share sheet.
If you allow notifications, the app schedules an alert on your device for the end of a period. These are local notifications; nothing is sent over the internet.
The app is made for parents, coaches and scorekeepers. We do not collect personal information from anyone, including children, and ads are limited to content suitable for general audiences.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
